Line of Duty Death ~ Captain Pam Butler Updated On: Aug 24, 2010 It is with great sadness that we report the Line of Duty Death of Captain Pam Butler.  Captain Butler lost her battle with occupational cancer early on Sunday, August 15th, 2010.  A Celebration of Life Service is scheduled for this Wednesday, August 18th, 2010 at 11:00am.  The services will be located at Hillside Gardens, 1006 South Institute St, Colorado Springs, CO 80903.  Firefighters and friends are encouraged to attend.   At the family's request, there will not be a traditional Fire Department ceremony, procession, grave side service or formation as Captain Butler's final resting place will be back east.  Attire will be civilian or Class A Uniform.  Please contact any Executive Board member with questions.
