On Sunday Sept 4th, Local 5 went on the Local MDA Telethon and presented over $53,000 to the Muscular Dystrophy Association! This was in part to the off duty events throught this past year and the On Duty and Off duty collections over the past 2 weekends. Even with the new time constraints for collecting on duty, without everyones willigness to go out and collect and the selfless giving by the citizens of Colorado Springs, this would not be possible!
